We are traide AI – a VC-backed, B2B deep tech startup based in Berlin, using AI to solve one of the most overlooked yet critical challenges in international trade: customs compliance. Our software automates product classification, reduces regulatory errors, and helps customers save up to 83% of their time.

Your tasks

AI Automation & Workflows

You analyze where we're still doing too much manually – and build the solution yourself
Concretely: automations for the Commercial team, Finance workflows (invoicing, reporting, DATEV), HR processes, and cross-departmental systems
You evaluate tools, test use cases, and actually get things running – not just to concept stage
Mid-term: close collaboration on venture development initiatives and building new internal structures from the ground up

Special Projects & Chief of Staff Support

You work closely with our Chief of Staff – gaining direct insight into all key decisions across the company
You own cross-functional projects end-to-end, with real accountability
You actively shape and improve internal structures, processes, and team operations

Who we’re looking for

You don't need to be a developer – but you should already know your way around automation tools and love building workflows that actually work.

Fluency in German (C1 or native) and strong English skills (B2 or better) – written and spoken
First professional experience – ideally in a fast-paced environment like a startup, consulting, or a high-growth company
Hands-on experience with automation tools like n8n, Make (Integromat), Zapier, or similar platforms – you've built real workflows, not just watched tutorials
Experience with AI-powered tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar – you actively use them to get things done faster
Motivated, hands-on, and ready to take ownership from day one
Structured and organized, with the ability to keep multiple projects on track at once
Ideally you've also worked with tools like Airtable, Notion automations, Retool, or scripting basics (Python, Apps Script) – but that's not a must-have

Deine Aufgaben

KI-Automatisierung & Workflows

Du analysierst, wo wir intern noch zu viel manuell machen – und baust die Lösung dazu
Konkret: Automatisierungen im Commercial Team, Finance-Workflows (Rechnungen, Reporting, DATEV), HR-Prozesse, abteilungsübergreifende Systeme
Du evaluierst Tools, testest Use Cases und bringst Dinge wirklich zum Laufen – nicht nur zum Konzept
Mittelfristig: enge Zusammenarbeit im Bereich Venture Development und neue interne Strukturen mitaufbauen

Special Projects & Chief of Staff Support

Du arbeitest eng mit unserer Chief of Staff zusammen – und bekommst direkten Einblick in alle relevanten Entscheidungen
Cross-funktionale Projekte mit echter Eigenverantwortung
Interne Strukturen, Prozesse und Team-Operations aktiv mitgestalten und weiterentwickeln

Nach wem wir suchen

Du musst kein:e Entwickler:in sein – aber du solltest dich mit Automatisierungstools bereits auskennen und Spaß daran haben, Workflows zu bauen, die wirklich funktionieren.

Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1 oder Muttersprache) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2 oder besser) – schriftlich und mündlich
Erste Berufserfahrung – idealerweise in einem schnelllebigen Umfeld wie einem Startup, in der Beratung oder in einem stark wachsenden Unternehmen
Praktische Erfahrung mit Automatisierungstools wie n8n, Make (Integromat), Zapier o. ä. – du hast echte Workflows gebaut, nicht nur Tutorials geschaut
